Who is Pacific Concrete?

I founded Pacific Concrete 35 years ago in South Orange County. For over three decades I have helped thousands of families and business owners restore the concrete, stone, and brick of their homes, office, and investment properties.

I love what I do, and today I am still at it. I meet with all customers and provide the highest quality custom concrete cleaning, staining, and sealing service.

– Chris Jacobsen

Can old concrete be stained?

The answer is: yes, you can acid stain old concrete. The process for acid staining old concrete is very similar to staining new concrete.

How long will concrete stain last?

That depends. Because stains permeates the concrete to infuse it with permanent color. If properly cared for, stained concrete floor or pavement can last a very long time. It just depends on how well you care for the concrete and if the concrete receives a lot of weather.

Is it better to stain or paint concrete?

Stain!

Choose concrete stain for longer-lasting and more durable color. ‘Paint’ has a tendency to peel, chip, or flake.  Unlike paint, concrete stain penetrates the concrete, giving it more adhesion to the concrete stone or brick you happen to be restoring.

Should I Seal my Stained Concrete??

Yes!

Concrete can be damaged from high use, hot sun, and other heavy weather conditions. Sealing your concrete, stone, and brick can help protect against weather conditions, UV rays, and high traffic use, thereby extending the color and consistency of your hardscape.
